The Peer Ministry Application is required to join Peer Ministry @ SJPII.
As a teen in Peer Ministry, you will assist the Pastor, Family Life Coordinator, Family Life Coordinator Assistant, Adult Youth Ministry Leadership, and other teens in conducting the youth ministry program.
You will be expected to grow in the following areas: leadership, service, and faith witness while living out your faith in our parish.
Leadership is the willingness to invest time and talent to build up the Church and community.
Service is imitating Christ by compassionately assisting others in their needs.
Faith witness is letting your light of faith shine brightly by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ through word, prayer, and action.
Peer Ministry is meant for teens seeking to deepen their faith and help others encounter Christ. In this way, they will be answering Christ's call to, "Go make disciples of all nations." -Matthew 28: 19-20.
Please provide the information for a character reference. Someone for whom you've done volunteering work before, a coach/teacher, or any trusted adult with whom you've worked closely.
